1. Physiological:
– Difficulties in hearing, expression
2. Psychological:
– Emotional disturbances, neurosis, level of intelligence, comprehension or language difficulties
3. Environmental:
– Noise, invisibility, congestion
4. Cultural:
– Illiteracy, customs, beliefs, religion, attitudes, economic and social class differences, language variations, cultural differences between foreigners and nationals, between urban education and rural population
• These barriers should be identified and removed
• Otherwise, the HE will not achieve the desirable behavior change
